Music at St. John’s Concert Series will feature The Sunderman Wind Quintet (Gettysburg College) and pianist Scott Crowne playing the music of Garth Baxter, Jenni Brandon, Frances Poulenc, and Hollis Thomas (member of St. John’s). A woodwind quintet, made up of a flute, oboe, clarinet, French horn and bassoon, provides a colorful ensemble. The works that will be played will draw upon jazz, folk, night, and, yes, frog music.
