Sleep in Heavenly Peace
Founded in Kimberly, Idaho in 2012, Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit providing hand-made bunk beds to children who don’t have beds of their own. Not only do we deliver these beds to kiddos in need, but we partner with organizations, churches, businesses and individuals like you to build them at events called Build Days!
Good Roots Furniture Ministry
Good Roots furniture ministry is a ministry of First Christian Church in partnership with The Judy Center which tries to supply furniture for families who can’t afford the basics. Their mission is simple: No child will eat or sleep on a floor. Learn more here
The Women’s Club
The Women’s Club at 31 South Prospect St., offers housing for ladies of low income. They have single bedroom rooms with beds, dressers. The ladies share a common kitchen and bathrooms. It is a safe, secure building. The rents vary from $230/mo to $295/mo depending if the room has has a bathroom attached.
