Hagerstown Area Religious Council
The Hagerstown Area Religious Council (HARC) is a coalition of churches and houses of faith in the Hagerstown area of Washington County.
John Wesley United Methodist Church, 129 N. Potomac Street, Hagerstown, welcomes the Christian musical group ‘Second Chances’, to their sanctuary on Sunday, September 11, at 4:00 pm.
‘Second Chances’ is a diverse group of singers who love to share the greatest gift, the Gospel message, through their gift of music. They sing a variety of classic, gospel, and traditional hymns to glorify God and spread his message.
A freewill offering will be taken, which is used by the group to purchase gifts and support needy families at Christmas and to give back. A reception will follow.

The official Season for Nonviolence begins by marking the anniversary of the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi on January 30 and ends on the April 4 anniversary of the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr. Between are 64 days of practice of the principles of Gandhi, King, and others to bring about peace and nonviolence in our world today.
