Hagerstown Area Religious Council
The Hagerstown Area Religious Council (HARC) is a coalition of churches and houses of faith in the Hagerstown area of Washington County.
Meritus Medical Center’s Spiritual Care Department hosts monthly educational sessions for faith leaders, health care providers and members of the wider community.
During this COVID-19 era, we will transition to a strictly virtual meeting, which will be held on the third Thursday of the month, from 8:30 – 10:00 a.m. Topics, and speakers will vary, suggestions are welcome. There is no cost for the meeting; however, an RSVP is required in order to receive the ZOOM meeting code and password.
This month we will be having an honest and open conversation about the pros and cons of taking the COVID-19 vaccine and the role that faith communities and other community stakeholders can play in spreading hope and fostering health in Washington County and beyond.

The official Season for Nonviolence begins by marking the anniversary of the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi on January 30 and ends on the April 4 anniversary of the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr. Between are 64 days of practice of the principles of Gandhi, King, and others to bring about peace and nonviolence in our world today.
