As we approach the holiday season, the Maryland Department of Emergency Management, U.S. Department of Homeland Security and Federal Bureau of Investigation welcome you to join us on the evening of November 10th (7pm to 8:30pm) to discuss a variety of requested areas of interest to include:
• The Threats Affecting America Today
• What is an Insider Threat?
• Importance of De-Escalation Until Help Arrives…
• Proven Practices by Houses of Worship
• Options to Assess Your Current Security Readiness
• 2022 Non-Profit Security Grant Opportunity
• Open Discussion with the Audience & Panel of Presenters
We welcome your active participation and ideas, as well as learning from specialists and peers from across Maryland.
This annual event is FREE and open to the public. A wonderful opportunity to see the interiors of historic downtown Hagerstown houses of worship. Learn about the architecture and ecumenical heritage from docents and guides. Music, refreshments and local art will be featured at some locations.
