Holy Week Maundy Thursday Service

Holy Week Services at St. Mark’s Lutheran ChurchSt. Mark’s Lutheran Church welcomes all to join them for Holy Week Services with Pastor Brian McClinton presiding over all services. Services as follow: Wednesday, March 27, 6:30pm; Maundy Thursday, March 28, 6:30pm; Good Friday, March 29, 6:30pm; and Easter Sunday, March 31, 10:00am. A Sunrise Service will also be held on Easter Sunday (March 31) at 7:00am at the Garden of the Cross located in Rose Hill Cemetery, 600 South Potomac Street, with a breakfast to follow at 8:30am in the Parish Hall at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church.
Season of Nonviolence and Peacemaking January 30 - April 4
The official Season for Nonviolence begins by marking the anniversary of the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi on January 30 and ends on the April 4 anniversary of the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr. Between are 64 days of practice of the principles of Gandhi, King, and others to bring about peace and nonviolence in our world today.
