The Hagerstown Area Religious Council (HARC) is a coalition of churches and houses of faith in the Hagerstown area of Washington County.
Join Meritus’ Spiritual Care Services for a historical overview of Juneteenth followed by a panel discussion to honor the significance and importance of Juneteenth – Freedom Day – when the last enslaved Black people in the U.S. were finally freed on June 19th, 1865. Presentation & moderator: La-Kenya Bland. Panel: Fred Chavis, Wendy Clarke, Kalim Johnson, Brother Andy Smith, Pastor Ricky Smith, Rose Smith, and Eb Williams.
