St. Mark’s Lutheran Church would like to invite all in the community to a recital featuring the Borowsky Trio on November 3 at 7:00 p.m. Hailed by the international press as “American Virtuosi,” siblings Frances, Emmanuel, and Elizabeth Borowsky have won their way into the hearts and minds of audiences throughout North America, Central America, Europe, Asia, and The Middle East. With performances rooted in their cohesive and loving familial bond, the trio has delighted listeners of all ages with their commanding interpretations of standard repertoire and dazzling original compositions. They have an excellent program for us. Please invite friends of young and old, especially aspiring children and youth who seek a love for chamber music. The recital is titled America’s Music and will include conversation and performances of American composers Florence Price, Amy Beach, Undine Smith Moore, and William Grant Still. There will be light refreshments following the recital.
This recital is introducing a new recital series sponsored by St. Mark’s. There is no fee for this event. A free-will offering will help defray the recital’s costs and plan future classical music possibilities for the community. Please forward the this flier to the appropriate personnel of your congregation.
