Hagerstown Area Religious Council
The Hagerstown Area Religious Council (HARC) is a coalition of churches and houses of faith in the Hagerstown area of Washington County.
On Sunday, June 18, at 6 pm, Saint John’s Episcopal Church, 101 S. Prospect St., will hold a Taize prayer service. This style of worship began at a monastic community located in Taize, France. The service consists of meditative singing, short scripture readings, and prayerful silence. All are welcome to attend. Enter through the tower doors on Prospect, the side door in the breezeway, or the elevator door in the parking lot.
This evening prayer service will be held on the third Sunday of every month at 6 pm.
Please join us for this unique service with participation and traditions across different faiths. This service will feature a community choir. If you’d like to participate, please arrive by 2:45 pm. Free and open to the public.
