The Christmas Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols

Please join the Saint John’s Parish Choir on the Twelfth Day of Christmas for the last chance to sing Christmas Carols in the church and for the premiere of “When Such Music Sweet”, by Hollis Thoms. They will have a professional string quartet, a handbell quartet from Hagerstown Church of the Brethren, and Stephen Pastena, pianist joining them. A reception will follow the service. Season of Nonviolence and Peacemaking January 30 - April 4
The official Season for Nonviolence begins by marking the anniversary of the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi on January 30 and ends on the April 4 anniversary of the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr. Between are 64 days of practice of the principles of Gandhi, King, and others to bring about peace and nonviolence in our world today.
