Hagerstown Area Religious Council
The Hagerstown Area Religious Council (HARC) is a coalition of churches and houses of faith in the Hagerstown area of Washington County.
All members and affiliates are encouraged to attend our annual meeting! This is both a business meeting and a program. Here’s the line up:
* Speaker: Dr. David T. Sovine, Superintendent, Washington County Public Schools
* Lunch and fellowship
* Voting on the 2024 budget
* Election of new board members and officers, and a small change to our bylaws
Thank you to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints for hosting and providing the meal. Contributions toward the meal can be made via a free-will offering basket. Join us for lunch and fellowship, sharing of our host’s faith tradition, followed by the program. RSVP requested by Friday, January 19 at noon so we can get a count for lunch.
Parking: We recommend parking in the lot to the left of the church. Enter through the door facing the back of the parking lot.
To honor the International Day of Peace, an Interfaith Progressive Dinner will be held at three different local houses of worship with four faith traditions participating. Small plates of food will be served at each location as we progressively move as one group from place to place.
