HARC Meeting: Mental health challenges, programs and resources in Washington County

October 10, 2023 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm

At our October HARC meeting, we will address the issue of rising mental health challenges, what programs and resources are available in Washington County to help, and how the faith community can play a role.  Guest speakers will be Victoria Sterling, LCSW-C, Director of Behavioral Health Services for the Washington County Health Department and Carrie Tressler, LCSW-C, Executive Director of the Washington County Mental Health Authority.

Join us for lunch and fellowship.  Thanks to Reach of Washington County for hosting and providing the meal.  Contributions toward the meal can be made via a free-will offering basket.  RSVP requested by Friday, October 6 at noon so we can get a count for lunch.

Directions to Reach can be found here.  Attendees can park in any parking spot on Reach’s level. Additional parking can be found on the other two sides of the building at Christ’s Reformed Church or the Aspiring to Serve side, accessed from 130 and 140 W. Franklin St. Any spots at Christ’s Reformed are open (walk to the back of the building to Reach via the alley), or any undesignated parking spots in the lot just past the church at the attached Aspiring to Serve building (walk up a flight of stairs to Reach).

————————————————————————–

HARC meetings are typically held on the 2nd Tuesday of every month for lunch, except July and August, with an occasional evening meeting.  When meeting in-person, the location typically rotates among different houses of faith, giving different congregations and organizations an opportunity to host.  Some meetings will be recorded for later viewing, as we are able and the subject allows.
