Hagerstown Area Religious Council
The Hagerstown Area Religious Council (HARC) is a coalition of churches and houses of faith in the Hagerstown area of Washington County.
At our October HARC meeting, we will address the issue of rising mental health challenges, what programs and resources are available in Washington County to help, and how the faith community can play a role. Guest speakers will be Victoria Sterling, LCSW-C, Director of Behavioral Health Services for the Washington County Health Department and Carrie Tressler, LCSW-C, Executive Director of the Washington County Mental Health Authority.
Join us for lunch and fellowship. Thanks to Reach of Washington County for hosting and providing the meal. Contributions toward the meal can be made via a free-will offering basket. RSVP requested by Friday, October 6 at noon so we can get a count for lunch.
————————————————————————–
HARC meetings are typically held on the 2nd Tuesday of every month for lunch, except July and August, with an occasional evening meeting. When meeting in-person, the location typically rotates among different houses of faith, giving different congregations and organizations an opportunity to host. Some meetings will be recorded for later viewing, as we are able and the subject allows.
Please join us for this unique and uplifting interfaith service. We invite all members of the community to come together in giving thanks! You are invited to stay for a reception following the service.
