The program theme is Living a Legacy of Love: Doing God’s Work. “ For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” (Eph. 2:10)
In keeping with the focus of being created to do good works, we will address the need to alleviate hunger and poverty. The speaker will be Diana Church, Williamsport Food Bank Coordinator. You are encouraged to bring a donation for the food bank. Easy to open, microwavable non-perishable items are appreciated. “Complete” pancake mix, noodles, and rice are always needed.

The official Season for Nonviolence begins by marking the anniversary of the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi on January 30 and ends on the April 4 anniversary of the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr. Between are 64 days of practice of the principles of Gandhi, King, and others to bring about peace and nonviolence in our world today.
