Come and experience Chair Yoga at Otterbein * All ages are welcome!
Tuesdays, 4:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
April 18 – May 23 (6 weeks)
This chair yoga series is suitable for ALL levels and abilities. No previous experience is necessary. You will be guided through low-impact asanas (postures) from the comfort of a chair to increase flexibility, strength, and balance. Modifications for each asana will be given as needed. Additionally, you will be guided through breathing exercises and meditation to promote wellbeing and strengthen the connection between mind and body. Traditionally, yoga is practiced barefoot to maximize the benefits of circulation, however, you may choose to wear flat soled shoes or socks during your practice. Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely.
Our instructor Shae Cowfer, is a 500 HR Registered Yoga Instructor.

The HARC Interfaith Thanksgiving Service held on Sunday, November 24, was a beautiful event full of unity amid appreciation of our differences. The multi-colored leaves on the bulletin cover illustrated this harmony: "[they] are all alike, yet all different. And they fit perfectly together." You can view the recording on Facebook or it will soon be posted on Benevola UMC's YouTube page. Many thanks to the many participants who made this service amazing, and to Benevola United Methodist Church for hosting this year.
