Hagerstown Area Religious Council
The Hagerstown Area Religious Council (HARC) is a coalition of churches and houses of faith in the Hagerstown area of Washington County.
EVENT CANCELLED Renee Spears Emanuel, native Baltimorean and now proud citizen of Hagerstown, member of the MD Griots’ Circle and the National Association of Black Storytellers, recipient of the 2023 “Women in the Arts Award” whose love for the spoken word inspired her career as a speech-language therapist and fuels her performances in libraries, schools, festivals, home concerts, and conferences – returns for her second appearance at Stories In The Round and an evening of folk tales, fairy tales and original stories.
Stories In The Round is a 9 session series at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Hagerstown, 13245 Cearfoss Pike, generally 4th Monday of the month, April thru November.
$12 in advance, $15 at the door. Children 12 & older welcome when accompanied by a parent or group leader.

This annual event is FREE and open to the public. A wonderful opportunity to see the interiors of historic downtown Hagerstown houses of worship. Learn about the architecture and ecumenical heritage from docents and guides. Music, refreshments and local art will be featured at some locations.
