Quiet Day at St. John’s Episcopal — A Time for Reflection and Renewal

Lit Candle in darkThe Daughters of the King at St. John’s invite you to a Quiet Day on Saturday, March 22, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. This special retreat is open to all and offers a much-needed opportunity to pause, reflect, and listen for God’s voice in the midst of our busy lives.

The day will begin with a continental breakfast, followed by guided reflections and quiet time for personal prayer and meditation. Participants are encouraged to bring a bag lunch, and they will provide chips and drinks.

Location: St. John’s Episcopal Church

Parking: Available at the corner of Antietam St. & Walnut St.

Join them for all or part of this peaceful and restorative time. They hope you will take this opportunity to step away, breathe deeply, and reconnect with God.

Season of Nonviolence and Peacemaking January 30 - April 4

The official Season for Nonviolence begins by marking the anniversary of the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi on January 30 and ends on the April 4 anniversary of the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr. Between are 64 days of practice of the principles of Gandhi, King, and others to bring about peace and nonviolence in our world today.
