The Hagerstown Area Religious Council (HARC) is a coalition of churches and houses of faith in the Hagerstown area of Washington County.
Organ & Piano Recital at Emmanuel United Methodist Church, 802 Summit Avenue, Hagerstown, MD, on Sunday, August 29, 2021, at 3:00p.m. Featuring the keyboard skills of Sharon Sutton, Bill Moersen and David Miller. Music will feature hymns, spirituals, and classical compositions, some with a touch of jazz. Bill Moersen is organist at Mount Nebo United Methodist Church, Boonsboro, MD. Sharon Sutton is pianist at Calvary Chapel of the Cumberland Valley. David Miller is organist at Emmanuel United Methodist Church. A free will offering will be received to raise funds to restore the organ. The church is handicapped accessible. The official Season for Nonviolence begins by marking the anniversary of the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi on January 30 and ends on the April 4 anniversary of the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr. Between are 64 days of practice of the principles of Gandhi, King, and others to bring about peace and nonviolence in our world today.
