It’s party time! Beltane marks the midpoint of the Wheel of the Year between Spring and Summer. The Earth is fully in the process of blossoming and signs of life are all around us. On May 1st, come celebrate being alive during our Beltane Party at Anne Baker’s farm. The event begins at 3 PM with a potluck and making flower crowns. At 4, the party really begins with an opening prayer and the lighting of a sacred fire. Bring a drum, rattle, artificial or fresh flowers for crowns, and food to share! Dressing in layers and with sturdy boots is recommended.
Join us for HARC’s annual ecumenical Good Friday Unity Walk in memory of Christ’s passion and death. Walk begins in the gazebo adjacent to the Museum parking lot and ends at the “grotto.” There will be 7 stops with scripture readings and dramatic dialogue, music, and call-and-response songs between the stops.
