11th Annual Youth Prayer Rally

The 11th Annual Youth Prayer Rally, sponsored by the National Day of Prayer-Frederick, will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2024 in Baker Park, Frederick, Maryland. This is a local observance of the National Day of Prayer. Program starts at 6:00 p.m. with pre-event activities (food, fun, music, giveaways) starting at 5:30 p.m. For youth, includes college and young adults (and their families), to gather and pray publicly for all levels of government and its leaders. Season of Nonviolence and Peacemaking January 30 - April 4
The official Season for Nonviolence begins by marking the anniversary of the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi on January 30 and ends on the April 4 anniversary of the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr. Between are 64 days of practice of the principles of Gandhi, King, and others to bring about peace and nonviolence in our world today.
