Nearly 100 Afghan allies/refugees will soon be settling in Frederick, MD. The faith-based Refugee Welcome Committee (RWC) in Frederick and Lutheran Social Services of the National Capital Area (LSSNCA) are partnering to welcome them and help them get settled. This includes supporting families with housing in Frederick, furnishing their apartment/home, providing transportation, stocking their pantries, and more. All assistance with this monumental task is appreciated! The RWC has a warehouse to store furniture and supplies and financial donations are a great help, in addition to the more hands-on support.
