Washington Goes Purple Interfaith Prayer Walk

Second annual interfaith community prayer walk in response to addiction, specifically the opioid epidemic. A unified response of Washington County’s faith communities organized and hosted by Connections Six Eight UCC, Hagerstown Area Religious Council, and Interfaith Coalition of Washington County in partnership with Washington Goes Purple.
An opportunity for faith communities of all faiths to come together in one united diverse front to pray and take affirmative action to help our city to rise to her potential by confronting the issues that torment our city such as addiction, poverty, incarceration and homelessness.
Two different walk routes that start and finish at Zion Reformed UCC with a non-walking route available too. Opening ceremony and closing ceremony at Zion Reformed UCC.
No RSVP required, just show up with your friends, family, and peers to unite together with your community for your community.
