Stories in the Round – Kevin Cordi

Dr. Cordi is an award-winning innovative teller, teacher, and “story mediator”, telling, coaching and leading workshops in 40-plus states and 6 countries with audiences from correctional officers to cartoonists.  Author of several books on storytelling, of which the best known are Playing with Stories, and You Don’t Know Jack: An American Storyteller Goes to School. The first full time teacher of storytelling in a U.S. high school, he has also worked with the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, American Library Association, Qatar Foundation International, National Storytelling Network, Singapore Department of Corrections, Yosemite National Park, Highlights for Children, National Optimists Organization and Newsweek. Kevin’s first performance for Stories In The Round will feature an interactive, eclectic story mix from around the world.

Stories In The Round is a 10 session series at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Hagerstown, 13245 Cearfoss Pike, usually the 4th Monday of the month, March thru December.

$10 in advance, $12 at the door. Children 12 & older welcome when accompanied by a parent or group leader. Season tickets for the 10 month series are available for $80.
