Sheep visit St. Mark’s  – Rescheduled

May 19, 2019 @ 8:00 am - 12:00 pm

Many churches celebrate “Good Shepherd” Sunday on the fourth Sunday of the Easter Season.  While rain forced a rescheduling of the sheep, for the second year in a row, St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 18313 Lappans Road, will welcome a special addition to Sunday Worship – live sheep grazing in front of the Historic Church!  Members Renee and Mark Billadeau raise sheep dogs and sheep at Pipedream Farm in Middletown.  They will bring a few ewes and lambs to nestle down on the front lawn of the Church, while the shepherds and sheepdogs keep watch. Lee, the sheepdog, is highly rated in the National Sheepdog Trials and he works hard to keep the sheep safe.    This “Gospel in Life” lesson will be open to all who attend church on May 19.
