Mayor’s Proclamation Transgender Day of Remembrance

Join in for the Mayor’s proclamation, proclaiming Transgender Day of Remembrance as a recognized day of remembrance in Hagerstown, Maryland.

Let the city know that we care about our transgender citizens by attending this proclamation. Numbers make a statement so please attend if able.
City Hall, second floor in Council Chambers. The proclamation will in the opening ceremonies of the session so please arrive on time. As soon as the proclamation is done, we will quietly excuse ourselves and possibly pose for a picture in front of City Hall on the steps if we have a nice group represented. There will also be a photo opportunity inside with the group and Mayor at the end of the proclamation being given.

This annual event is FREE and open to the public.A wonderful opportunity to see the interiors of historic downtown Hagerstown houses of worship. Learn about the architecture and ecumenical heritage from docents and guides. Music, refreshments and local art will be featured at some locations.This is a self-guided walking/driving tour and can be started and ended at the house of worship of your choice.
