HARC Meeting: Transportation & Justice

September 10, 2019 @ 12:30 pm - 1:45 pm

HARC’s monthly meetings resume in September.  We’ll kick off the fall with an update on transportation and justice initiatives.  We hope you will join us!

Lunch will be provided by John Wesley UMC with a free-will offering basket.  If you plan to attend, please RSVP online by Friday, September 6 so we can get a head-count.  Please know that you are welcome to come even if you forget to RSVP, but the notice does help with food estimates and seating arrangements.

Parking:

John Wesley UMC has a small parking lot behind the church accessed by the City Market parking lot/alley. There are only 12 spaces, shared with a small downtown business, so spaces are first come, first serve.  Plenty of parking is available in the City Market parking lot behind the church (Jonathan @ Church St.), which is metered, or in metered spaces along Potomac St.

HARC meets on the 2nd Tuesday of every month except July and August. The meeting usually rotates to different houses of faith, giving each an opportunity to host. Meeting time is at 12:30 p.m. for lunch with occasional evening meetings for special programs.

Clergy and/or lay representatives of any Washington County house of worship or faith-based organization are welcome to participate. Only supporting members are eligible to vote.  Other members of the community are also welcome to attend.
