Welty Church of the Brethren is hosting a “Happy Birthday Jesus!” Children’s Christmas party on Saturday, Dec. 7th, from 2 – 4 pm at the church located at 13465 Greensburg Rd., Smithsburg. There will be fun games, crafts, a children’s story and refreshments and it’s all free! Snow date is Dec. 14th, same time. HARC Hike

The HARC Hike for Hunger & Hope will be an in-person event (with a virtual option)! The main hike date is set for Saturday, June 4, 2022 at Shepherd's Spring Outdoor Retreat Center with safe social distancing and appropriate COVID protocols. Proceeds will benefit HARC programs, including Micah's Backpack, which continues to provide nutritious food to more than 1,000 food-insecure children in Washington County.
