Hagerstown Area Religious Council
The Hagerstown Area Religious Council (HARC) is a coalition of churches and houses of faith in the Hagerstown area of Washington County.

Walk begins: 11 am
This walk of Christian Unity starts at the historic Asbury United Methodist Church on Jonathan Street, then heads north to Potomac Avenue, east to Potomac Street, south to Franklin Street, west to Jonathan Street, and returns to Asbury UMC. Participants are encouraged to sing along with leader Troy Gandy as they walk. Choir and awards presentation in front of the 3 crosses. Refreshments on the lawn, or inside if inclement weather. The official Season for Nonviolence begins by marking the anniversary of the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi on January 30 and ends on the April 4 anniversary of the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr. Between are 64 days of practice of the principles of Gandhi, King, and others to bring about peace and nonviolence in our world today.
