Event Date: May 15, 2018 at 8:00 am Event Location: Brook Lane, 13121 Brook Lane, Hagerstown

Join Brook Lane Health Services  for a continental breakfast, a morning of prayer, conversation and learning at Brook Lane’s annual Pastoral Care seminar.

Alcohol and drug abuse/addiction cuts across all ethnic and socioeconomic classes and can be found in all areas of our society, the church included. Increasing, clergy and church leaders are finding themselves in the role of relating to addicted individuals and their families.
This seminar will provide insight about local commonly abused substances, discuss indicators that may signal someone in your congregation may be struggling with an abuse/addiction problem and provide strategies for how to respond and minister appropriately.
