Refreshments 6:00 – 6:30 pm
Conversation 6:30 – 8:00 pm

Please note the change of date and time on this program from our usual meeting time.  Time frame will be 6:00 – 8:00 pm.

HARC will be co-hosting this meeting with the Character Counts! executive team. Character Counts has initiated two conversations in the last few months… “The role of Law Enforcement in the Community” and “the role of the Community in supporting Law Enforcement.

This third conversation will be on “The role of the Community with and to itself:”  How can we play well in the sandbox together?? How can we develop respectful dialogue? How can we encourage kindness? How can we love our neighbor better??

This conversation will be facilitated by Brett Wilson, MD State Delegate, and a panel of local leaders.  Anyone in the community is welcome to come.

Light refreshments will be provided.  If you plan to attend, please RSVP by Friday, June 9.  RSVP online or by email to jackcastle48@gmail.com so we can get a head-count on food (if replying by email, please let us know of any dietary preferences/concerns).  Please know that you are welcome to come even if you forget to RSVP, but the notice does help with food estimates and seating arrangements.

HARC meets on the 2nd Tuesday of every month except July and August.  The meeting rotates to different houses of faith, giving each an opportunity to host.  Meeting time is usually at 12:30 p.m. for lunch with occasional evening meetings for special programs.

Clergy and/or lay representatives of any Washington County house of worship or faith-based organization are welcome to attend general HARC meetings and participate in our programs.  Only supporting members are eligible to vote.
