February’s program is entitled “Sibling Rivalry in the Abrahamic Family.”  Leaders from our Jewish, Muslim and Christian communities will share what their sacred texts have to say about how we are to treat one another.  Panel includes Rabbi Ari Plost, Imam Syed Burmi, and Rev. Audrey Hollenberg Duffey.

Lunch will be provided with a free-will offering basket.  If you plan to attend, please RSVP by Friday, February 9.  RSVP online or by email to jackcastle48@gmail.com so we can get a head-count on food (if replying by email, please let us know of any dietary preferences/concerns).  Please know that you are welcome to come even if you forget to RSVP, but the notice does help with food estimates and seating arrangements.

Getting to Brook Lane:

If you’ve never been to Brook Lane, getting there can be tricky.  Driving directions to Brook Lane (main campus), are on their website.

Once you turn into Brook Lane, continue to the three-way stop and continue straight along the brook.  You will come to a long parking lot with the administration building on the hill behind it.  Park in any of these spaces available and follow the walk way in front of the cars going to the left.  You will see the entrance to the Community Room under a small roof.

HARC meets on the 2nd Tuesday of every month except July and August.  The meeting usually rotates to different houses of faith, giving each an opportunity to host.  Meeting time is at 12:30 p.m. for lunch with occasional evening meetings for special programs.

Clergy and/or lay representatives of any Washington County house of worship or faith-based organization are welcome to attend general HARC meetings and participate in our programs.  Only supporting members are eligible to vote.
